Guntas Randhawa exits Unilever after 17 years
Guntas Randhawa has announced her exit from Unilever after a 17-year stint with the company. In a LinkedIn post, Randhawa reflected on her journey at Unilever, saying she joined the company fascinated by brands and leaves with an even deeper appreciation for people. She was most recently working as India head, Vitamins, Minerals and Supplements Division, Hindustan Unilever, a position she took up in January 2023. Randhawa joined Unilever in 2009 as a Business Leadership Trainee. Over the years, she took on roles across customer development, brand management and global brand leadership. Before this, Randhawa was global brand director from January 2019 to April 2023. In this role, she led the creation and global rollout of core innovation projects across South Asia, Southeast Asia and Africa. She also spent nearly six years as brand manager, where she worked on campaigns, activations, consumer and trade promotions, and cross-functional project delivery. Earlier, as customer development manager for modern trade in Delhi NCR, she was responsible for quarterly growth plans, regional distribution and sales delivery, while also leading a team of more than 200 HUL and third-party employees. Reflecting on her 17 years at Unilever, Randhawa highlighted the people, teams, debates, failures and friendships that shaped her journey.
