GK Vasan backs TVK, edges closer to ruling alliance

The GK Vasan-led Tamil Maanila Congress (Moopanar), which quit the AIADMK-led NDA in the State after recent elections, has extended its support to the ruling TVK-led alliance for the October 6 Madurantakam and Dharapuram Assembly bypolls, signalling a shift in its alliance strategy and fuelling speculation over a broader understanding with the TVK.
