Dakshina Kannada to get Rs 49.40 crore to strengthen rural drinking water supply

Dakshina Kannada district has received approval for an action plan worth Rs 49.40 crore under the EAP Action Plan 2026-27 of the World Bank aided Karnataka Sustainable Rural Drinking Water Supply Programme, with a focus on strengthening rural water supply infrastructure and achieving 100 per cent volumetric water metering and billing.
