CBI Books Defence Accounts Officials, Middleman And Contractors Over Alleged Bribery

The CBI registered a case against two Defence Accounts Department officials, an alleged middleman and three contractors over an alleged bribery racket linked to Ministry of Defence contracts worth ₹1.22 crore. The agency alleged money was routed through an intermediary to officials. Investigators are examining bank transactions and other evidence in the case.
